Would the drivers for this be different than the drivers that Lexmark shows for my printer?
I have the same question 0. If a driver is not available or if you’ve updated the driver and still can’t select the scanner, find out if your scanner uses TWAIN technology.

Lakota Peter Replied on February 3, I then worked with a Lexmark technician who connected to my computer and tried many different things to resolve the issue but was unsuccessful. Does the issue persist when you perform a scan of a particular document?

You can help protect yourself from scammers by verifying that the contact is a Microsoft Agent or Microsoft Employee and that the phone number is an official Microsoft global customer service number. Since installing the Lexmark when Lexamrk try to use this same function I get and error message ” Unable to scan.
How satisfied are you with this response? As I have stated, I am able to scan documents and save them on my computer so obviously it is on and connected. I have downloaded all relevant downloads. Update or reinstall the driver if required and try again.

I have not tried to reinstall the driver as the Scan function works. When I select ” Scan ” from this same menu the scan of the same document completes without any problem. So my conclusion is that Windows Fax and Scan gets along with Canon scanners but not Lexmark and I will just have to lexjark with my work around. I have reinstalled the drivers and checked for any updates and there are none.
