Right-click on the speaker icon and select Playback Devices – this should list all audio components built into the system. Press the ALT key. Amith, Once you are done with what Wolfie2k6 said, I’d go back and uninstall the driver and install it in compatibility mode and see if that helps.

Right-clicking on realtek gives me “audio devices”. What video card are you using?
